Are you a counselor or wellness coach who wants to add some somatic tools to your therapeutic toolbox, or a yoga teacher who wants to add more breath and sound to your classes, or are you a medical professional who is interested in some complimentary therapies for insomnia, anxiety, and chronic pain for your patients?
Cheryl Murphy, a master sound therapist, and I have designed this one of a kind Breathwork and Sound Healing Training For Wellness Professionals to help you build knowledge and confidence in integrating these therapies into your work.
In this training you will learn:
The anatomy of breath
Overview of breath and the nervous system
Foundations of coaching breath
Indications and contraindications for 4 specific breathing techniques: belly breathing, diaphragmatic breathing, breathing with a sandbag, and breathing patterns that support the endocrine, reproductive, musculo-skeletal and immune systems and that increase production of necessary neurotransmitters in the brain to improve overall wellbeing.
Cheryl Murphy will share from her deep well of experience and knowledge as a sound therapist. She will be offering 5 specific protocols for utilizing Himalayan singing bowls for improving the health and wellbeing of your clients. There is time included in the workshop for you to practice and to experience the protocols yourself.
You will also receive an electronic and printed copy of the breath and sound protocols covered so that you may continue to practice at home and may utilize and integrate these protocols in your own way as a health practitioner. She will be bringing her own bowls for you to practice with or if you have your own you may bring it to the workshop.
